Opened up a DAW module I bought at Apex Surplus after the Supercon. Well now, that was not an ISA I'd ever think I'd run into. Good thing I'm an ally.

It's handling the dot matrix displays. There's a bunch of them on the other side of the screen, and they need to be scanned continuously to display something. There's a 8K RAM connected to the LCA as video memory, and it reads it and scans the data out continuously. The config for the part actually is uploaded via the host, so I didn't have it. For a similar board with the same part, I recreated it, via an ancient version of the toolchain for it, in block diagram mode as the key for the Verilog stuff is unobtainable...
