Opened up a DAW module I bought at Apex Surplus after the Supercon. Well now, that was not an ISA I'd ever think I'd run into. Good thing I'm an ally.

@sprite_tm I wonder what that xilinx LCA is doing in there. That's an old part.

@Ticktok It's handling the dot matrix displays. There's a bunch of them on the other side of the screen, and they need to be scanned continuously to display something. There's a 8K RAM connected to the LCA as video memory, and it reads it and scans the data out continuously. The config for the part actually is uploaded via the host, so I didn't have it. For a similar board with the same part, I recreated it, via an ancient version of the toolchain for it, in block diagram mode as the key for the Verilog stuff is unobtainable...
