Riddle time: what could this be? Each die extends beyond the frame to another 4 bond wires; the dies are around 13mm long. And no, it's not a linear CCD or CMOS sensor.
Note it's not entirely unlikely you have a PCB full of these at home. Or four. Any number in between is a lot less likely.
