Well, that was a bunch of time wasted. Remember the pjlink protocol I painstakenly enabled on my non-pro AWOL LTV? Turns out they released a firmware update either today or yesterday, which allows PJLink control with any LTV, not just the Pro versions. If I waited a day or two with my hacking, I would have caught the new firmware upgrade and wouldn't have to do the shenanigans to get PJLink working.
PJLink server still is buggy, though. I gave up writing a Home Assistant integration; a shell command that does a properly placed netcat is enough to turn the thing off, and I don't need more for now.
